Yoga & Movement Instructors
KAREN HADEN began practicing yoga in 1999. She was amazed at her renewed energy and feeling of wellbeing and realized that she wanted to teach yoga. She began teaching in 2003. Karen is a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor and continues to deepen her practice and knowledge by studying with senior level teachers. From her yoga practice, Karen has experienced healing, health, focus, personal and spiritual growth. She is passionate about teaching and hopes to foster a deep and abiding mind-body awareness as a foundation for self-growth in her students.

SANDY ENKE
is a certified Nia Brown Belt Instructor
and Movement Coach, and has been training
in the Nia Technique for 10 years, and teaching
Nia classes and workshops for 5 of those
years.
Sandy brings to her Nia classes a sense
of personal safety, real comfort and vibrant
joy in the body, as well as a deep and satisfying
relationship of the body to music through
expressive movement. Her classes have been
described by her students as being "like
a spa treatment for the body," "rejuvenating",
"grounding" and even at times,
"outrageous"! She believes that
through Nia we make possible the transformation
of our cell tissue by infusing it with positive
conversation, conscious motion and awareness
of the wholeness and the uniqueness of each
of our bodies--and this journey into the
body is well worth taking.
Sandy also loves photography, travel, x-c
and downhill skiing, hiking, reading, writing,
meditation, all kinds of music (especially
world music!), and cuddling with her big,
black, furry Newfoundland.
Sandy is also available for private parties,
small group or private movement coaching
sessions, and workshops. She has a keen
interest in bringing healing movement to
those of us who are challenged with pain
issues, and for helping women of all ages
learn to have a positive relationship with
their bodies.
